Welcome to GatorLink! GatorLink is an individual's computer network identity at the University of Florida. Every applicant, student, faculty and staff member is expected to have a GatorLink username and password. If you already have a GatorLink account, click on one of the links above to modify your account.

If you don't have a GatorLink account yet, you can create an account in the portal, then select GatorLink Account Creation.

Services such as an email address, dialup and web space are extended to GatorLink account holders based on their affiliation in the UF Directory.

GatorLink Account Management

    On November 12, 2006, a number of major enhancements to GatorLink took place:

  • Maintenance of your GatorLink username and password now takes place in myUFL (http://my.ufl.edu ). This includes account creation, account status and password changes- all found under the My Account menu.

  • In order to view and maintain your Gatorlink Services such as email, dialup and web pages, you must still log onto the Modify command on the GatorLink web site, http://www.gatorlink.ufl.edu

  • Despite GatorLink usernames now having the capability of being up to 16 characters long, renaming current accounts is strongly discouraged due to possible loss of certain services. New usernames now may also include lowercase letters, numbers and the period (.)

  • Faculty and administrative staff may create a 14-day guest account for visitors. See the UF Bridges web site, http://www.bridges.ufl.edu information about the process.

  • GatorLink accounts will now be expired at the time when the account owner loses a qualifying affiliation in the UF Directory. See the account eligibility and expiration page for more information.
